Brilliant Color – Universal Compatibility, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR
The AVR-X6700H supports High Dynamic Range video format,
HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). Dolby Vision

contrast, and color. HLG offers HDR technology over broadcast

tracks. The AVR-X6700H features the latest 32-bit D/A converters
allowing for high resolution audio decoding with multiple lossless file
types, including ALAC, FLAC and WAV at up to 192kHz/24bit. It is
also compatible with 2.8/5.6-MHz DSD files (DSD is the audio coding
format of SACD). Play them from memory devices via the front panel
USB, or over network sources. The AVR-X6700H also supports other
file types such as MP3 and WMA.

Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) Support
The main output of the AVR-X6700H supports eARC (enhanced Audio
Return Channel) to enable uncompressed and object-based audio
transmission directly from your smart TV apps to your AV receiver.

Powerful DSP Audio Processing
Inherited from the Denon flagship AVR-X8500H, a sophisticated digital
audio processing system that incorporates two dual SHARC+ core DSP
chips is adopted into the AVR-X6700H. This allows up to 13 channel

With the new Pre-Amplifier Mode, your Denon AV receiver work as

The AVR-X6700H features the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room
acoustic measurement system. With the supplied microphone, it
precisely analyses the output of each speaker to optimize every
channel. Plus, the additional Audyssey MultEQ Editor app (available
for purchase) allows advanced users to go “under the hood” for
further adjustment and customization of your audio environment.
The app is available for both iOS and Android.

AV receiver features Domotz Pro and OvrC remote monitoring and
management interface and service compatibility. The AVR-X6700H also
supports Control4 SDPP (Simple Device Detection protocol) certification
for seamless integration with Control4 home automation equipment.
